XJ's next generation Electric Power Assisted
Steering (EPAS) offers outstanding feedback,
control and immediate power assistance.
Electrically driven, it's only active on demand
which saves fuel. Only available on rear wheel
drive vehicles.
ALUMINIUM ARCHITECTURE
XJ's All-Aluminium architecture makes it one
of the lightest vehicles in its class, meaning less
fuel is needed to move it and consequently
creating lower emissions. With 50 percent of the
aluminium used coming from recycled sources,
XJ's green credentials are assured.
AERODYNAMICS
XJ's highly efficient shape is the result of hundreds
of thousands of hours of Computational Fluid
Dynamics testing. Jaguar created one of the world's
most advanced automotive virtual testing labs,
honing XJ's shape through virtual wind tunnels to
slice through wind resistance.
