Referring t<J your letters of 19th and 25th ult - Mr O'Neill has
not attended at this office since May of 19£4«
For some time
previously he had been very irregular in his attendances and apparently
had begxn to realise that he wai not suited for the
jratwrtdbn
He discontinued his attendances at the Office without consulting
in any way and although I made several efforts to get into communication
with him afterwards I was unsuccessful in finding out anything abcut
his movements save that he had obtained some kind of employment in
Ekglartd.
X therefore decided that he had madia up his mind to abandon
the Profession and this would appear to be borne out by the fact that X
had heard nothing from him <ft«r over 18 months.
