New OMB Members - September 2016

Dear AOAC Board of Directors,

As Wendy McMahon’s direct supervisor at Mérieux NutriSciences, I am recommending her for a

member of the Official Methods Board (OMB). My recommendation is based on Ms. McMahon’s

contribution at Mérieux NutriSciences assessing the safety and quality of foods in addition to the

impact she’s had in providing science-based solutions to food industry. Her extensive work on

methods development and validation give her a solid knowledge base that can be applied to the

OMB work.

This letter also serves as Mérieux NutriSciences’ commitment to providing Ms. McMahon the time

and resources necessary for her success as a member of OMB.
