AMessage From

Chaplain Art Brooks…

During the past month, it appears that the membership was in good

health. The first day of spring has come and gone. Let’s hope our

membership continues to stay healthy for the rest of spring and well

into the summer.

A thought for Easter:

Easter, Ordinary Holiday ?

Perhaps or perhaps not, many centuries ago a man walked this earth as an emissary of God.

His mission was to teach people to love and appreciate each other. As always, there were

people in those days, as there are today - hoggish, egotistical and power oriented. Perhaps this

means destiny was pre-arranged. No matter, he was sacrificed so posterity would be allowed to

live in honor, peace and tranquility. For us who believe in this Man and the Easter incident, our

lives have been made better. So this Easter, remember it is not the fine garments that we wear

outside, but the truth we wear on the inside that sustains us throughout our lives, now and into

the future. Easter may be an ordinary holiday, but it is no ordinary Holy Day. Be happy in it’s

truth and feel joy at this time.

Sue and I would like to extend Happy Easter wishes to the membership and their families. May

the Easter bunny bring everyone much chocolate !!!!
