This is our latest design: the Dry Cargo/container vessel Dianthus. The
design is based on the typical dimensions for inland ships: 110x11,45 m.
The depth is limited to 3,55 m., instead of the more common 3,65 m. This
reduces steel weight, and together with her new bodylines in fore- and
aft ship, this gives the vessel much better draught, meaning she can
carry more cargo in shallow waters. On top of that, we’ve redesigned
the vessel to improve draft, which enables the vessel to easy access the
German channels.
