LAW-2843 Mental Health Issues in Civil and Criminal Law

Mental health issues arise in a variety of cases, both civil and criminal, faced by both private
practitioners and attorneys working in the public sector. This course will offer practical
information and tools in this complex area of the law, along with the history of criminal and civil
mental health law in Massachusetts. The course will also examine current trends and issues in
mental health law.
