Deep is your gaze,
Of one whose knowledge
Is such
That judgment ceases –
Instead there is
The patient waiting
For all forces and beings
To join at last
The One Path
And ask for
Its clearance
And submit
To
Its process –
Aum Namo Bhagavate –
That is why perhaps,
Sri Ganesh,
You are called
The Spirit of Yoga…

Leaning out from among the trees,
Festive and Joyous,
Warm and giving,
You appear,
A Brother to show the way –
A Brother
To help with the crossing,
Or to remind of the Grace,
Or to call for Her Blessings –
Gentle and strong and free,
Massive and immediate
And flowing –
A smile of safety,
An auspicious form
To clear the path
In the forest of life…
