(Introduce the Supporter of Automotive Education Awards)
Each year, the National Automotive Technology Competition Committee and the Greater
New York Automobile Dealers Association honors individuals from the automotive industry
for their contributions to automotive career and technical education.
Selecting this year’s recipients was not an easy task because we are privileged to have so
many dedicated individuals working in the automotive industry.
All of today’s recipients have worked hard to enhance the image of the automotive industry
by participating in career awareness activities.
Because of their contributions, students receive training that better prepares them for
employment at automotive dealerships.
Each of today’s recipients has also played an important role in developing a partnership in
the private sector and the education community. It is easy to see how today’s award
recipients are helping to improve automotive technology education.
They are hardworking, competent, and committed to encouraging young people to
consider careers in the automotive industry. Their dedication and hard work pays off when
young people decide to pursue a career in our dealerships.
