Coach Sneddon
Coach Sneddon has been coaching high school baseball for 20 years in the West Geor-
gia area; including head coaching stints at Mt. Paran, Mt. Zion, and Villa Rica. He is
a graduate of the University of West Georgia, and has a Master’s degree in Coaching
and Athletic Administration. He has been named a Georgia High School All-Region
coach of the year, and the Times-Georgian All-Area coach of the year. In addition to
baseball, he has also coached high school football, and basketball, as well as serving as
a middle school athletic director. Coach Sneddon has also served as the director of the
John Smoltz baseball camp, as has mentored many former, and current collegiate and
professional baseball players. Coach Sneddon has 2 daughters; Jordan and Alana.
Coach Lunsford
Coach Brandon Lunsford enters his 6th season
with the South Paulding Baseball Program. He
is currently the varsity pitching coach. Coach
Lunsford spent eight seasons at Alexander High
School, “where I was fortunate enough to work with a great coaching staff, and be
surrounded by many quality players and parents.” He acknowledges his time spent
at AHS as the foundation of his coaching experience. It was at AHS where he and
Coach Galamore first teamed up.
His additional previous coaching experiences include:
Alexander High School 2000 - 2008 (Varsity Asst, JV Head & Asst, 9th Gr Head)
14U Centerfield Bison Team (won USSA GA State Title, National Ranking - 9, trip
to Houston for USSA World Series) 12U West Ga Mavericks (went to Cooperstown
Tourney - finishing in the top 25 out of 96 teams)
Coach Lunsford graduated from Douglas County High School in 1997, playing both
basketball and baseball during his high school career. He attended Southern Polytechnic State University out of high
school, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, where he played baseball as a Hornet for one year. He then transferred to
Clayton State University majoring in Business. Coach Lunsford currently works for Williams Form Engineering Corpo-
ration, where he is Production Manager for all estimating, detailing (CAD Design),
fabrication, etc.
Coach Lunsford lives in Winston, Ga with his wife, Kristi, their son Grant (12),
and their dogs, Kane and Kaos. He enjoys spending time with family, all sporting
events, and summers at the family lake house.
Coach Cochran
Coach Cochran begins his first season with the Spartans for the 2015/2016 school
year. Coach Cochran has an extensive baseball history and has experience playing
in high school, college and with the U.S. Air Force travel team.
Coach Cochran graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Economics. He currently teaches World History and Economics
at South Paulding High School. He has been married to his wife for 33 years and
has 4 children.
