EASY WAYS TO REGISTER

CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT

Register for an account to register for programs

online at

dgparks.org

. Click the “Register Online”

button in the top right to get started.

DROP-OFF FORM

Register for programs and events in person at

any of our facilities. Simply bring in a completed

registration form with your payment (cash, check,

money order, Visa, MasterCard, AmEx or Discover).

Checks or money orders may be made payable to

Downers Grove Park District.

THERE IS A $25 SERVICE CHARGE FOR

RETURNED CHECKS.

AFTER HOURS:

For convenient after-hours drop-off, a mail slot is

located in the door at the top of the stairs at Lincoln

Center’s north entrance, and outside the Recreation

Center to the left of the main entrance.

TIPS FOR REGISTRATION

REGISTER EARLY

Popular programs will fill up fast, so register early to

guarantee your spot. Registrations are taken on a

first-come, first-served basis on the dates below.

NONRESIDENT REGISTRATION OPENS

Residents of school districts 58/99 may register

in person or via mail during the same registration

period and at the same rate as residents for activities

or class sections offered at school facilities.

CHECK AGE REQUIREMENTS

Appropriate age levels are established by our staff

of professionals to ensure a rewarding experience

for all children. Children must meet the age

requirements of a class within one week after the

starting date of the class, with the exception of

Lincoln Learning Center Preschool.

LIST ADDITIONAL CHOICES

If a class meets its enrollment maximum you may be

placed on a waitlist. Occasionally we also need to

cancel classes due to low enrollment or the weather.

List your additional program choices on the

registration form so that you may be placed in the

next available class if your first choice is filled or

cancelled. You will be notified by Park District staff if

any changes are made to your enrollments.

RECREATION REFUND POLICY

If you choose to withdraw from a class, a refund

will be issued or placed in your account when a

completed Refund Request Form is submitted at least

72 hours prior to the first class meeting.

A prorated withdrawal refund will be issued in

cases of illness or injury when accompanied by

a doctor’s note.

Certain programs, events and services are not

refundable under this policy.
