Tasks
Once a month it is worth giving your
hamster’s cage a full clean. Follow the
routine as described for the weekly
clean, but wash down all the bars,
shelving and your hamster’s sleeping
house in a small animal safe disinfectant
and rinse thoroughly with clean warm
water. Do make sure everything is
completely dry before putting in the new
bedding (and some old bedding) and
returning your hamster to its home.
