THE RYAN NICHOLAS INN
e Ryan Nicholas Inn is a beautiful, 11,000-square-foot southern
mansion set on seven wooded acres that has the feel of times past. e
Inn, named a er the two sons of proprietor Kim Becherer, was designed
and built to accommodate wedding ceremonies and receptions. It is
lled with ornate wood and plaster moldings, Brazilian cherry hardwood
oors, crystal chandeliers, uted columns and period furnishings, wall
coverings and draperies. In the center of the mansion is a 2,000-square-
foot Gathering Room. is room features a 24-foot ceiling, wrap-around
balcony and grand “Gone With the Wind”-style staircase. Experience the
most romantic ceremony on the staircase, followed by dancing the night
away under the crystal chandeliers at your reception. End your dream
evening in the Crystal Swan Honeymoon Suite.
Fairy tales do come true at the Ryan Nicholas Inn, from an intimate
50-guest reception up to 350-guest gala. e Inn is an all-inclusive ven-
ue, taking care of every detail, including its own catering prepared by the
executive chef, and a full beer, wine and liquor license.
Kim Becherer and her father, a retired chemical engineer, designed and
built the inn, which opened in 2000. e inn has earned seven four-dia-
mond awards from AAA and has hosted 795 weddings. “When you love
your job, it never seems like work, Kim said. “It is just a great life!”
