The chain is strengthened by
forming these “collars.”
A SIMPLE ARCH
• Use 25–12" balloons and inflate two chains
of 12 balloons
• Tie the neck of the first balloon directly to a
weight, adding the remainder one at a time
• Join the two tails at the apex of the arch
• Collars of 6" balloons should be added as
an accent
• Adding collars will reduce the float time
JOINED NECK-TO-TAIL
Tie the neck of an inflated LINK-O-LOON® to the tail of
a previously inflated LINK-O-LOON®. There is no need
to tie off each LINK-O-LOON® before attaching it to
another. Continue in this manner until the chain is the
pre-determined length. For uniformity in appearance,
it is recommended that when forming a LINK-O-LOON®
chain it is more effective
to consistently tie neck
to tail. There will be
some exceptions to
this general rule.
