The standard brachytherapy dose
schedule for HDR was 21 Gy in 3 fractions
of 7 Gy, in the CBT period specified at
point A.
IGBT period: specified at the 100% isodose
around the HR-CTV, aiming at a total EQD2
dose of 80–85 Gy to 90% of HR-CTV (D90
HR CTV)

In some patients a fourth fraction,
resulting in a total BT dose of 28 Gy was
necessary to achieve an adequate dose to
the HR-CTV. In a few patients with
significant comorbidities, a schedule of 17
Gy HDR in 2 fractions of 8.5 Gy was used.
