ground with blue pinstripe in 40% wool, 35% silk, and

25% linen, HJCF (forward pleat) or HJCP (plain front);

blue ground with white stripe in pure linen, HSTF-B

(forward pleat) or HSTP-B (plain front); white ground

with blue stripe in pure linen, HSTF-A (forward pleat)

or HSTP-A (plain front); solid white in pure linen, HLWF

Here is our favorite dress shirt this season:

exceptionally finely woven soft and non-bleeding denim

from one of Italy’s best mills, cut with a cutaway collar,

(which, as we have said many times, is the best collar

under a jacket if no tie is worn, since it sits perfectly),

and trimmed, as all American denim traditionally should

be, with understated orange stitching. Of course,

our perfect mother-of-pearl buttons are always the

finishing touch for all of our shirts.

Our espadrilles this season are made for us by Geox,

and have canvas uppers, rope detailing, and a white

rubber sole with the trademark Geox breathable and

waterproof membrane. European sizes 41–46 (US 8–13),
