I am honored to welcome everyone on behalf of the students, fac-
ulty, and staff of South Paulding High School. Thank you for your
support of all of our students and coaches of our fall sports and
band program. They make us very proud!
At South Paulding High School we are committed to providing a
rigorous curriculum where students and teachers work together to
prepare all students for future success through a partnership with
the home and community. We value the involvement of our stu-
dents outside the classroom in co-curricular and extra-curricular
activities such as band, cheerleading, clubs, and athletics, as we
know leaders are developed through these activities. South Pauld-
ing High School not only strives for all of our students to graduate
high school on-time, with their class, but also expects that they
will be college or career ready after graduation.
We want to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to par-
ents and community members to be involved and to help us as we
educate all of our students and prepare them for future success. If
you ever have a question or wish to be more involved with South
Paulding High School, reach out to me at krowland@paulding.k12.

Dear Spartan Fans and Guests,
It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome all of
you to South Paulding High School and to another exciting season
of Spartan Football and athletics. During the 2015 – 2016 athletic
season, all athletic teams put forth tremendous efforts in all compe-
titions. The efforts by coaches and players resulted in South Paulding
winning the Paulding County Superintendents Cup for the 2015 –
2016 school year.
The 2016 - 2017 athletic season will put forth many challenges as
South Paulding participate in contests against all Paulding Coun-
ty High Schools and other schools from surrounding counties. South
Paulding High School is now in Region 5 – AAAAAA. The contests
that will take place in the 5 – AAAAAA Region will provide excellent
and exciting competition as SPHS takes on high schools from Douglas
County, Fulton County, Coweta County and Atlanta Public Schools.
At South Paulding High School, the athletic department believes in
promoting quality character development in all of our student ath-
letes. The athletic department at South Paulding High School stresses
and instills in student athletes the importance of respect, respon-
sibility, good sportsmanship, integrity and competitiveness that is
necessary to succeed later in life.
Please sit back, relax and cheer on your Spartans. I ask that you en-
courage, display and promote good sportsmanship at this and other
events at SPHS. Please cheer with enthusiasm and show the Spartan
athletes how much you appreciate their time and effort this evening.
I sincerely thank all of you for coming tonight and appreciate the tremendous support we receive from our
entire SPHS community. I hope that you enjoy the game and I look forward to seeing you at other events at
South Paulding High School throughout the year.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Dr. Keith Rowland
