Extranodal (not necessarily extralymphatic) sites in

the upper aerodigestive tract

Nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses: NK/T-cell

lymphomas (Eastern Asia and South America) and

DLBCL (Western countries)

Pharynx (most often in Waldeyer’s ring: lymphatic tissue

formed by palatine tonsils, adenoids in posterior

nasopharynx, lingual tonsil, and intervening lymphoid

tissues): DLBCL

Oral cavity, larynx and hyphopharynx: rare, include

indolent lymphomas, mantle cell lymphomas and DLBCL

Parotid and other salivary glands: MALT lymphomas
