Railtrail has again been nominated in the 2016 British Travel Awards under the category

‘Best Rail Holidays Company’

Please follow the link at

www.railtrail.co.uk

to vote for Railtrail

Thank you from the Railtrail team!

Something that is personally very important to our team here at Railtrail is

knowing that we provide you with great escorted rail holidays. I’m proud to

say that you can if you wish support us by voting for our family company in

this year’s British Travel Awards. Last year we were pleased to win Silver, but

we would be very grateful if you could help us ‘Go for Gold’ this year – please

see the bottom of this page for details on how you can ‘Vote for Railtrail’!

Please Vote for Railtrail!

Here at Railtrail our holiday planners are always

working a year ahead and with lots of new tours

and some old favourites now open for booking

right through to summer 2017, we thought now

would be a good time to send you ‘4 Seasons’ in

one brochure.

The first few pages with the yellow banner offer

a selection of our popular 2016 tours which still

have availability. Admittedly it is limited in some

cases, so best be quick! Due to space restrictions,

we could only include a ‘From’ fare, either from

the tour base (hotel) on UK tours or St Pancras

International for European tours.

The pages with the brown banner showcase

our autumn tours. Perhaps enjoy one of our

‘rail ale trails’ or take a ‘grand tour of Scotland

in miniature’ on our Golden Highlander, when

the Scottish Highlands become a patchwork of

changing colours.

The red banner depicts our biggest ever Festive

and Winter programme. Perhaps choose one

of the many festive markets on offer, including

the Rhine Valley, Dresden, Prague, Bavaria, the

Harz Mountains, Bruges & Ghent, or Winchester,

Salisbury, Durham and Yorkshire – simply the very

best of Christmas Markets in the UK and beyond.

For Christmas itself we return to Scotland for

a grand tour with all the trimmings, or how

about Christmas by Lake Lucerne, experiencing

exhilarating Swiss mountain railways in their full

wintry glory!

New Year just wouldn’t be New Year at Railtrail

without our annual trip with plenty of steam

nostalgia to the stunning Black Forest.

For early 2017 we’ve got a brand new Scottish

tour packed with content or the ‘White Pass’

Swiss Winter Snow Train Adventure. Alternatively,

February’s visit to the Harz Mountains has half-

timbered towns, steam trains, snow (we hope)

and no single supplement!

We spring into spring, repeating our circular tour

of the Scottish Highlands and our popular ‘Flower

Power & Steam’ tour to the Netherlands.

Finally, some of our popular tours are ready for

summer 2017 and, for a limited period only, you

can book these at 2016 prices. Please see pages

14-17 for further details.

Well, Jules Verne went round the world in 80 days,

but I’ve just reviewed four seasons in one page!

Thank you for your interest, your custom and

maybe even your vote. We really appreciate it and

hope to welcome you on board soon.
