GENERAL NEWS
Summer Fete
2017
On July 13th 2017 Regents Park
held its first ever Summer Fete.
The weather was beautiful and
the school looked amazing.
We had stalls ranging from
the Tombola and Hook a Duck
to student’s savoury delights
and homemade cakes. Local
businesses took part and we even
had a bouncy castle and a magic
show outside!
The students demonstrated their
creativity and talent in the art
and photography exhibition and
their competitive side through the
inter-active rowing challenge and
football skills – against parents
and teachers!
Our local martial arts club created
demonstrations in the gym and
everyone had an opportunity
to ‘Zumba’ or ‘Twirl’ on the
basketball courts.
It was wonderful to see the whole
community engaged at the fete
and particularly our immediate
neighbours that reside around us.
Lots of sweet and savoury treats
were consumed and lots of
raffle tickets sold on what was
an awesome day and a fantastic
way to celebrate Regents Park
Community College – thank you
everyone involved who donated
their time and their gifts to make
the evening special including
Emma Vardy, ex student who is
now working for the BBC who
gave up her time to open the
event.
See you next year!
