The
Public Relations Committee had
an extremely good year. Jody Morgan,
director of Public Relations, would like
to thank her committee members for
helping her. The AS public Relations
Committee had a very productive and
successful year, this year. Their main
goal was to keep the communication
lines between the AS officers and the
rest of the student body open. This
was. .done by newsletters, formal ev–
aluations, and Town Meetings.
Concert IJoard
During the 1987-88 school year, the AS brought the international
bands Simply Red and the Alarm to play concerts at the Sports Cen–
ter. This year, to continue the tradition, the AS created the Concert
Board. The goals for this year are to bring a nationally known comedi–
an for the fall semester, and in the spring doing a concert at Balboa
Park and donating all proceeds to the homeless of San Diego. We,
the concert Board, are very excited to be involved with the program
and are determined to see the tradition grow.
