The Chief Justice's wit at work.

The event was enlivened by the humour and wit of the self-described

'MC', Mr Justice Liam Hamilton, Chief Justice.

Nora Owen TD, Minister for Justice, and Lord Mackay of Clashfern, Lord

Chancellor of England and Wales.

President Robinson unveils the plaque in the presence of the Chief

Four solicitors present in the Round Hall were (L-R) Brendan Walsh,

Justice. The plaque has now been placed in the Round Hall some

City Sheriff of Dublin, together with Law Society Council members

60 feet above the entrance door. The Chief Justice thought it safer to

James McCourt, Richard Bennett and Hugh O'Neill,

have it unveiled at ground level.
