with good forestry aptitude may
be derived. The predominant
geological formations are
the Guichón, Mercedes,
Asencio, Fray Bentos, Aluvium
and Salto along the coast,
and San Gregorio, Melo,
Yaguarí, Cuchilla del Ombú,
Tacuarembó, Rivera, San
Gregorio, Tres Islas and
Crystalline Basement.

and other water flora and
fauna, or the irrigation of crops
whose product is not consumed
in natural form or, in cases
where it is consumed in natural
form but the irrigation system
