What an honor it is to represent, as President, the Buckeye Association of School
Administrators (BASA). Though it is a privilege for us all to serve our communities
as superintendent of schools, the position also brings terrific responsibility and chal-
lenges. We are truly fortunate to have an association that works, quite tirelessly, in
support of our work, leadership and success.
Our Executive Director, Dr. Kirk Hamilton, has recommended a new logo for our
association. Personally, I love it! In typical Dr. Hamilton fashion, the logo is clean,
efficient and speaks to the history and mission of BASA. BASA is clearly, “Ohio’s
Superintendent Association.”
What a pleasure it is to present our annual Membership Directory. For those of
you who are new to the superintendency, the Directory is just another resource
offered by your “superintendent association.” This Directory is designed to support
you in your leadership capacity. Experienced district leaders have long valued the
Membership Directory for the:
• dual-sorted list of BASA members;
• complete list of conferences and workshops
• BASA Executive Committee and Committee Chair assignments
• BASA Organizational Structure
Often overlooked are the BASA premier and corporate sponsor pages and the
Products and Services Marketplace. The Marketplace is a one-stop shop solution
center, a thorough and comprehensive list of products and services to assist you in
leading your complex learning organization.
We sincerely hope that you find our annual Membership Directory to be of
