In its first life, this three-bedroom home was a fire station
dating back to the early 1900s, that is, until the current owner
bought it at a town auction. While the original look has been
retained on the outside (it even still has the granite signage)
the inside was transformed in 2002 into a topnotch pad with
soaring 22 foot ceilings, motorized skylights and extraordinary
exposed suspension truss work just three blocks from the ocean
in Plymouth, Massachusetts. An expansive five car garage is
outfitted with reclaimed wood floors and oversized doors that
can fit the largest of trucks, while a separate one bedroom
apartment is the perfect place to host your guests. And since
we know you’re wondering: no, there aren’t any fire poles to
slide down.
