Adrian Oproiu was born in

Curtea de Argeş, Romania,

in 1980, and has been living

in Zagreb, Croatia since

2009. He has an M.A. degree in Philosophy at the

University of Bucharest, worked as a teacher of Philosophy

and Logic in Romania, and is now a university instructor of

Romanian Literature in Croatia. He translates from

Romanian into Croatian and vice versa.

His first volume of poetry,

Căpcăunul ierbivor

,

was

published in 2012 in Bucharest. He has also written short

prose and essays for Romanian and Croatian literary

magazines. You can find a terrific poem-essay of his, on the
