• The light technical properties of bulbs are marked with Lumen (lm = luminous flux). The color rendering property is expressed through the Index Ra/CRI.
The light color of bulbs is measured in K (K= Kelvin).
The respective stated value in Kelvin is always an average value from the running production and can therefore vary.
• For the application of IRC or energy-saving bulbs the maximum output of the luminaires and of the standard equivalent bulb must be noted.
Tables can be found next to the bulbs. Example: A lamp with max. 50 standard bulb can only be equipped with a 35W energy-saving bulb!

All lamps must be separately disposed of, and do not belong in common landfills.
• The operation with open lamps without protection glass is only permissible with low-pressure bulbs.
Bulbs with this sign (standard IEC 357) are suitable for the use in lamps without protection glass.
• Halogen bulbs and metal-halide discharge bulbs have a high operating temperature and can cause a heating of the respective lamp housing. The latter can
therefore only be touched in cooled condition. Adjustable lamps or lamp heads, which do not have an isolated adjustment handle or where the permissible
housing temperature is exceeded at the adjustment point during operation with maximum bulb wattage, must be mounted out of reach of contact.
LED Retrofit bulbs are available as low-temperature alternative to most of our halogen bulbs. Suitable solutions can be found in this chapter.
• Also low-voltage lamps can be operated with LED Retrofit bulbs in many cases. Due to specific transfromer and LED technology, not every combination of
