the line and six frigates Were come in sight
o f the Sound.

ed in Elsinor road, and drew up in line o f
battle, but without likelihood of any hostile
intent. On the first appearance o f this fleef,
the Commander o f the fortrefs o f Cronborg
was asked whether the Exped ition was al
lowed to pafs the Sound ; he answered, he
was ordered not to attempt any kind o f resi
stance.
