CBIZ Compensation
On March 2, 2010, CBIZ received a letter from the DOS appointing us as the agent of
record effective July 1, 2010. On March 29, 2010, a Services Agreement between the
DOS and CBIZ was executed providing compensation to CBIZ of $6,250 a month for its
services in relation to the DOS self-funded medical and dental plans effective July 1,
2010.
There have been no adjustments to this fee since July 1, 2010. Given the results achieved
from July 1, 2010 to present in the areas of fixed cost reduction and claims cost trend
reduction coupled with inherent cost increases in CBIZ’s operating expenses and
additional services provided, e.g. ACA reporting & verification and the data analytics, we
are requesting that our monthly consulting fee be increased from $6,250 to $7,000.
