At the preliminary examination of candidates seeking
to become apprentices to solicitors, held on tbe 15th and
16th October, the following were allowed the exami
nation, and their names are arranged in order of
merit:—

passed the special preliminary examination, for which

Tbe remaining candidates have been postponed.
At the final examination of apprentices seeking to be
admil ted solicitors, held on the 17th and 18thOctober, the

Bpeoial certificates to J. Alexander, P. O'Leary, T; A.
England, and F. S. D. Colquhoan.
The Findiater Scholarship for 1894 has been awarded
equally between Messrs. W. A. FitzHenry, LL.B., and,
J asper T. Wolfe.
