of
lime-water.
Apply
the
mixture
to
the
part
burned
five
or
six
times
a
day,
with
a
feather.

upon

linen
rag,
and
apply
it

burn
immediately,
and
it
will
relieve

pain
instantly

heal

sore

1.
Take
as
much
mustard
as
will
make
into
a
salve
mixed
with
honey
;
spread
it
on
a
rag,
and
lay
it
on
the
sore
for
24
hours.
If
the
sore

not
dead,

salve,
and
lay
it
on
3
or
4
hours
longer.
Then
take
the
inside
of
elder-bark
and
stew
it
in
lard
;
put
in
beeswax
enough
to
make
a
salve
;
set

it

cold.

let

sore
get
wet.

take
mullein
and
boil
it
in
water,
and
wash
with
after
the
wound
