morphine can reduce safely & effectively breathlessness
in patients with
severe COPD and refractory dyspnoea.

many barriers limit their uptake by clinicians

Integration of palliative care earlier in the disease course
can help to
improve symptom control for people with severe COPD and refractory
breathlessness.
