eeping it simple is the focus for interior
designer Kenneth Brown and his partner,
Matt Bruno, a realtor. "There's a feeling
of authenticity in natural beauty and laid-back
holiday decorating, " he explains. With their son,
Harper, and daughter, Sawyer in tow, the couple
visited a farm in Pearl River, Mississippi to chop
down their Christmas tree. At home, they dried
Cutie mandarins and decorated them with cloves
and hand-strung garland made from glass beads
from Cajun Bead Crafts. It was great family time,
easy to do and the intoxicating scents of the season
fill their home.
After years in Los Angeles, Kenneth is happy to be
home where his sophisticated aesthetic mixes warm
modern styles with elegant Southern touches. With
candlelight and burnished metallic ornaments on
the tree, they are set for the season and looking
forward to sharing time with family and friends.
