Molecor represents Spain in European
Business Awards
The European Business Awards
organisation has announced the national
finalists to compete for the prestigious
awards for 2013/2014. Molecor,
which specialises in manufacturing
and technology orientated PVC pipe
(PVC-O) for pressurised water pipes,
has been selected as one of the
representatives for Spain.
In this first round, the jury analysed
European companies that comply with
the basic principles of the awards:
innovation, excellence and sustainability.
Antonio Arena, co-founder and CEO of
Molecor, commented, “Molecor is a
pioneer in the development of molecular
orientation technology applied to
pressurised water pipes. Words like
innovation, sustainability and excellence
have helped to shape our identity over
the years.”
Representative companies from each
country will participate in the second
phase of the process, where they
will compete with other European
companies spread across various
categories.
According to Adrian Tripp, CEO of the
European Business Awards, “Over the
last seven years we have achieved
a very high level. However, very few
companies have the opportunity to
represent their country and compete
across Europe to be recognised as
one of the Europe’s finest. It really is
an exceptional compliment. We look
forward to beginning the next phase.”
To qualify for the award, companies
must submit their activity, history
and future prospects, in a video to
be published online. Assessments
will begin in November, and the
public will also be able to vote for
their national representatives through
the organisation’s website (www.
businessawardseurope.com). Once the
voting period concludes, the ‘European
public champion’ will be announced,
next April.
The European Business Awards
promote success, innovation and ethics
in the European business community,
rewarding organisations that meet these
core principles.
Molecor technology is already present
in Spain, Australia, Ecuador, Colombia
and Italy, and is involved in technology
transfer projects in Canada, USA, Saudi
Arabia, South Africa and Russia, among
others, as well as numerous water
infrastructure projects in countries in
Europe and Africa.
