work closely with the Pr es i dent and
Counc il of t he Society. T he pe r son

ensur i ng that app r op r i a te s t ra t eg i es
and policies a re d e v e l o p ed a nd
efficiently imp l emen t ed. T he role will
also requi re cons i de r ab le manage r i al
talent in directing a nd mot i vat ing
senior execut i ves a nd staff.
T he position involves a wo r k i ng
relationship at t he h i ghest level with
memb e r s of t he legal prof ess i on,
bus i ness and other prof ess i onal
organ i sa t i ons a nd go v e r nme n t.

position requi re that t he pe r son
appo i n t ed shou ld have t he
intellectual ability a nd
c ommun i c a t i on skills a nd t he
requisite maturity a nd s t a ture to
pr esent c omp l ex i ssues clearly.

comme r c i al a nd financial skills are
also necessa ry attributes. A l egal
qualification is des i r ab le but not
essential.
