CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Leading Change at Every Level

Second Edition

HRDQ, Developer Laurie Ribble Libove, MS

Assessment and Workshop, 1.5 hours

Change management isn’t just for

top execs anymore.

Traditionally, CEOs have shouldered the

responsibility for implementing organizational

change. But recent research tells us that change

is implemented most effectively when it’s led by

those it affects most — and that’s not always the

executive tier.

Leading Change at Every Level

is an assessment

that measures people’s ability to garner support

for any change effort. We learned that the classic,

CEO-led change is becoming extinct and that

instead, change is most effective when it is led

at every level.

Leading Change at Every Level

is an effective

learning tool for evaluating the success of a

recent change effort or assisting individuals to

measure and improve their change leadership

skill levels.

Mastering the Change Curve

Second Edition

Dennis T. Jaffe, PhD and Cynthia D. Scott, PhD

Assessment and Workshop, 1.5 hours

Accelerate the acceptance of

organizational change.

Mastering the Change Curve

is an assessment

designed to bring concerns to the surface

during change and help individuals, teams,

and organizations understand, accept, and

successfully transition through the experience.

Authors, Drs. Jaffe and Scott, experts in the

field of change management, describe change

as a natural progression through a series of

four phases. To successfully deal with change,

individuals must pass through all four phases:

Denial, Resistance, Exploration, and Commitment.

Based upon years of research, experience, and

the Kubler-Ross grief model,

Mastering the

Change Curve

uses a current change initiative as

a frame of reference, and individuals respond to

a series of 24 statements that describe responses

to change. The soft-skills assessment identifies

which change phase the individual is currently

experiencing, and it also provides subscores in

each of the dimensions.
