Sweet and Gentle and Precise
In your Magnificence,
You are the Provider,
You come forward with the gifts
From the Treasure
To heal the path
And help pave the way
Of Progress –
The forces in their play are not yet united
To the One,
For it is in man’s heart
That this
Must happen first,
Man the pivot,
Man the bridge,
Man the passage –
And, Sri Ganesh, all the while
You watch,
You see
And you try,
With your knowledge,
To help...

Sri Ganesh,
A mysterious benevolent sorcerer,
Neither feminine nor masculine,
Neither human nor animal
Nor a god,
And your welcome is rich and deep,
It is a nameless door moved ajar
