Of Consciousness,
And even though it must reach
Beyond inertia
Into the base
Of Aum,

Delight at its core –

Universal is your Form
And Most Helpful is
Its rich, harmonious poise,
Like a summary
Of the order of all that is –
Let the Mother’s
Transforming Grace

Sri Ganesh,
To be with you today
Is to be within
The hearth itself,
Within the flames,
Immersed in Agni’s glow,
Sheltered in
Its glorious depth,
The treasure of its peace...
There you are seated,
Sri Ganesh
On live embers and jewels
Of light,
A cocoon that is charged
With intent,
An inflexible yet patient
