Sometimes, Sri Ganesh, your dance
Is that of the trained
Fighter,
Tranquil yet nimble,
Massively poised and yet
As fast as light,
As quick to parry
As to strike,
Deeply elusive and yet
Without fear,
An unerring diviner
Of all opponents’ moves,
Yet detached and fair
And always ready
With your dance
To embrace
And offer…
