Sun-bright and deeply dark,
Flowing and splendid as Mahadevi’s Milk,
Unfathomable as the Mother of Obscurity,
You appear, Sri Ganesh,
As a cipher,
An impossible Sum,
Yet so near
And trustworthy!
Simple is your stance, today,
Content is your mien
As you welcome the offering,
Her deputy here,
Garbed in joyous fire…
