Year/Make/Model:

2009 Ford F350 Lariat

Cory Boehm

Regina,Saskatchewan

He was born with it, always fixing and modifying

things and eventually dreaming of driving his

own truck, fitted out just how he wanted it. Cory

says: “Yeah, I’ve always wanted a big lifted truck

- what kid doesn’t?” He didn’t name his truck, but

when a buddy called it the “Panty Dropper”, the

name stuck. This Regina native’s ’09 F350 Lariat’s

Instagram handle is @originalchaps and he’s a

Ford man and “always will be, they have proven

themselves over and over.” He bought his truck

used and the first thing he installed was a full

delete kit “because stock is not fun” and deleting first is “less of a headache”.

His truck finally started to feel like his Dream Ride

when he added a lift kit and bigger tires. He

joined Western Canadian Powerstrokes because

“they are a Ford diesel group that goes above

and beyond for each other.” Cory’s favourite

accessory so far is the minimax tuner and his next

mod will be an AxleTech 4000 Differential.

While his truck is his daily driver as well as his work

truck, when he does take it off road, “it gets me

through whatever I point it at”. That’s it! This off-roader has a can-do attitude with some

truck pride thrown in for good measure. He drives all over Western Canada for work so

you may see his truck just about anywhere. Our

Raven Edmonton team got to see this beast of a

truck up close and personal when Cory joined us

at one of our truck meets.

While he does admire a few of the outfitted trucks

he’s seen, he prefers the ones whose mods are

both practical and functional. His next dream

trip involves driving through the mountains and

challenging the back roads there.
