ETHICAL DECISION MAKING

Ethical questions that support the decision-making process:

Is it against or not in accordance with the National Standards of Practice

for Case Management?

2.

Does it feel right?

3.

Is it illegal?

4.

Will it reflect negatively, poorly or badly on you or your employer?

5.

Who could your decision or action injure?

6.

Could you disclose without qualm, your decision or actions to others?

7.

Is there an alternative action that does not pose an ethical conflict?

8.

What is your conscience telling you?

9.

What would a reasonable person think?

10.

Under what conditions would you allow exceptions to your decisions?
