Design:
Solid carbide (K10/K20), type N, according to factory standard.
Very sturdy model, profile grinding, right cutting, with precise point
geometry and narrow cross blade. Without point thinning, with a clear
side angle of 12°/30°. Angle of rake smaller than normal, core thickness
much thinner than normal and normal core gradient. From ∅ 6 mm with
carrier surface according to DIN 6535-HB.
∅ tolerance: up to ∅ 10 mm = h6,
from ∅ 10 mm: cutting tolerance = h8.
Application:
90°
–
For drilling and simultaneous countersinking if a spiral drill
with a smaller ∅ follows.
142° –For intervening with the main blade of the following spiral drill.
Especially suitable for precise positioning and fast boring on NC machines
and jig boring machines. Used for centring and chamfering thread holes
in one step. Only suitable for drilling. Particularly suitable for high strength
steels, steel castings, grey cast iron, hard castings, manganese hard steel,
CrNi steels, bronzes and light and non-ferrous metals.
