Calibration service? – Why?
More and more, the quality of the products produced is the
determining factor in securing a company's future. Stringent
customer requirements and international law on the liability
of producers, extensive warranties and regulations require the
complete identification of measurement and test equipment
that can affect product quality. The calibration of measuring
tools and test equipment monitoring is of particular importance
in DIN EN ISO 9000 standards. Each certified company shall
ensure and demonstrate that test equipment is regularly
reviewed for applicability and accuracy. The company must
prove that the measuring instruments used for
quality-related
measurements
and tests are linked to national standards.
Traceability must be ensured and documented by means of
examination in committed time intervals according to national
standards. Much of the measuring and test equipment offered
in this sales support is already delivered with a free and
traceable national standards TEST CERTIFICATE
. As an
additional service, we offer the calibration of newly ordered
measuring tools, as well as re-calibration. The calibration
is performed independently of the manufacturer. Naturally,
we work exclusively with recognised calibration laboratories
associated with the
German Calibration Service (DKD).
The standards
(DKD - standards)
of this calibration office
are compared in stipulated time intervals with the national
PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) standards. The
calibration is performed in accordance with predetermined
DIN standards, of VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 et seq. guidelines, or
by company standards.

Test equipment monitoring service/calibration
Design:
Versatile layer thickness measuring instrument with external probe, precise measuring
technology and the possibility of fast on-site extension via enabling codes (software modules
"Statistics" and "Data storage" ). Large, backlit graphics display (48 x 24 mm), large selection
of probes. Measurement range 0–20000 µm (dependent on probes), 10 selectable languages,
USB-/RS232 interface and rubber protective frame. Battery lifetime approx. 100 hours.
Supplied with Fe probe to 5000 µm, control body, set of calibration foils, operating instructions,
acceptance protocol/quality test certificate, measurement protocol, specialist literature and
2 Mignon batteries AA/LR06, 1.5 V, in plastic case.
Measuring uncertainty (after calibration):
Layer thickness < 100 µm: 1 % of the measurement value ± 1 µm
Layer thickness > 100 µm: 1–3 % of the measurement value ± 1 µm
Layer thickness > 1000 µm: 3–5 % of the measurement value ± 10 µm
Layer thickness > 10000 µm: 5 % of the measurement value ± 100 µm
Application:
Determines the thickness of non-magnetic layers on magnetisable substrate
(Fe, acc. to DIN EN ISO 2178) and the thickness of non-conductive layers on conductive base
materials acc. to the eddy-current principle (NFe, acc. DIN EN ISO 2360).

Further probes and comprehensive accessories, such as measurement value storage with
easy data management such as under Windows, limit value input and monitoring, statistical
evaluations with up to 999 measurement values, different PC assessment programs, many
calibration options as well as software extension for data storage (e.g. PC software, data cable
printer) are available on request.

Calibration service? – Why?
Product quality is an increasingly decisive factor in safeguarding the future of a company.
Strict customer requirements as well as the international legislation on product liability,
extensive warranties and regulations require the consistent identification of measuring and
control tools regarding product quality.
Special attention is paid to the calibration of measuring tools and test equipment in the
series of DIN EN ISO 9000 standards. Each certified company has to ensure that testing
equipment is checked for usability and accuracy at regular intervals.
The companies have to prove that the measuring tools used for
quality-relevant
measurements
and controls are subjected to national measurement standards.
The traceability is to be ensured and documented by checks for the compliance with
national measurement standards at prescribed intervals.
A large number of measuring and control tools offered in this catalogue are already
delivered with a
calibration certificate to national standards
at no charge.
Furthermore, we offer calibration of new measuring tools as well as recalibration.
The calibration is not dependant on manufacturers.
It goes without saying that we cooperate solely with calibration services affiliated to
Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD/German calibration service).
The standards

(German federal physical-technical institute) at prescribed intervals.
The calibration is effected in accordance with prescribed DIN standards, the directives
VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 ff. and/or company standards.
