O-1 precision ground oil hardening general
purpose tool steel is perfect for knife blades
due to the excellent abrasion resistance,
toughness and machinability characteristics.

Our 1095 is cold rolled and annealed with
a bright finish. This material is perfect for
forging blades, tools and other parts. Very
easy to work.

With a 2% high nickel content, 15N20 is the
layer of steel that produces the bright contrast
for making Damascus.
Premium quality quenching oil designed to
provide controlled cooling of steel which is
important in steel hardening. When quenching
is started, Chevron Quenching Oil 70 provides
a high initial cooling rate inducing maximum
hardness, yet once the critical transformation
temperature is passed, the ideal fluid cooling
rate decreases to eliminate the possibility of
stresses and metal distortion.
This highly stable oil resists the oxidizing
effects of quenching and is less sensitive
to the effects of agitation. It is highly heat
resistant. No additive replacement is required
and, in normal service, the product retains the
original viscosity indefinitely.
High Carbon alloy spring steel with chromium
added for hardenability. It has good wear
resistance. Known for outstanding toughness.
Hardening capability of 57-58 HRC.
A fine grain, electric furnace air-hardening, 5%
chrome oversize precision ground tool steel. It
is a superior quality steel which has excellent
wear and abrasion resistance properties.
