About the Author
Jane P. Gardner
has worked in science education for nearly two decades. With
master’s degrees in geology and education, she taught science at the high school and
undergraduate levels before becoming a science writer. Jane has written more than 20
nonfiction books for K–12 students and adults. Jane lives in Massachusetts with her
husband and two sons.
