We’re so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside”

W

elcome one and all to New Jersey Convention

and Exposition Center in historic Edison,

New Jersey for the 2017 CAI-NJ Annual

Conference & Expo! We are very excited this year to

present our Carnival theme, under the CAI Big Top, there is

something for everyone!

For those of you that may be attending for the first time,

we are so glad that you chose to join us today. We hope

you will take the time to attend one or more of our educa-

tion programs, visit with some or all of our 167 exhibitors,

and take some time to learn about the benefits of CAI. We

expect that you will find your time spent here both interest-

ing and educational.

And for those of you who have been here before… well,

you know the drill (but we are appreciative that you have

made the commitment to come back!).

This year the Annual Conference & Expo begins with a

bang at our Pre-Conference Networking Reception (and

“Live Band” After-Party) on Tuesday night (October 17th).

Of course, the main event is on Wednesday, October 18,

2017, starting the day with a complimentary breakfast and

later, lunch (who doesn’t love free food?).

But if you weren’t drawn into the event for the free food,

during the main event you will have an opportunity to win

cash prizes throughout the day! Step right up and put your

name in to win $1,000 an hour until CAI has given away

a total of $5,000 to lucky attendees (you must be present

to win)!

If you are an owner in a community association, you

won’t want to miss the educational seminars on insurance

and disaster planning, in addition to visiting the many ven-

dor booths giving you a chance to meet face-to-face with

service providers and professionals that you may never

have met in person and meet a few new ones as well.

If you are a community association manager, take the

time to attend one of the seminars geared towards man-

agement, like the LAC presentation on the new Radburn

Bill. The committee works very hard on finding timely and

educational topics that will enhance your knowledge to

wow your boards! It will also give you an opportunity to sit

down after standing in your booth meeting potential new

clients!

If you are a business partner or vendor, here’s your oppor-

tunity to be in the spotlight to engage with both managers

and homeowners to show how your services will benefit

their associations. I know I look forward to meeting new

vendors exhibiting for the first time to get to know them and

the different services they provide.

I want to thank those who have dedicated their time

and efforts to becoming certified, accredited, and/or

licensed in our profession. That includes managers who
