Micro-Precision Guide
Carter Provides precise control of the band saw
blade using Teflon® side support blocks. Hardened
sintered steel blocks are vacuum impregnated w/
Teflon material for reduced friction & cooler running
blades. Teflon acts as a dry-film lubricant to reduce
wear & increase life. Back support is provided by double-sealed ball bearing
encased in a precision-ground hardened steel wear ring. Features vernier
adjustment of the side blocks & complete flexibility of configuration. Guide
may be set up on the right- or left-hand for convenient control location.
Blade sizes 1/8" to 3/4". Blade speed to 5,000 fpm on 14" to 20" dia. ma-

Band Saw Stabilizer
Carter Revolutionary stabilizer provides support for
blades up to 1/4"W on a wide variety of band saws.
Rugged, compact unit easily installs in place of current
upper guide side support blocks to offer the benefits
of ball-bearing support for more consistent cutting w/
cooler blades. Special grooved support bearing gives full support to blade’s
rear edge, preventing it from moving backwards or sideways. The blade’s
front edge is free to flex into the cut. For 14" Delta & Jet band saws.
