IASA and Transeo, a suite of cloud-based
educational solutions, are excited to an-
nounce a new partnership that will help
educators across the state as they empower
students and prepare them for college and
careers.
Beginning in December, IASA and Transeo
will collaborate on a series of correspon-
dence to explain how Transeo is helping
transform schools with its innovative,
digital-first solutions that instantly provide
rich data to show if students are meeting
community service and work-based learn-
ing metrics. Transeo allows for seamless
reporting of the Illinois College and Career
Readiness Indicators (CCRI).
Created by educators for educators,
Transeo tracks volunteer hours, intern-
ships, apprenticeships and other workplace
experiences and makes it easier for stu-
dents and school staff to share the informa-
tion with business partners, civic leaders,
the Illinois State Board of Education, and
prospective colleges and employers.
“As a superintendent, I know how much
time it takes to track and report on these
important student experiences, and how
frustrating the process can be,” said Dr.
David R. Schuler, the president of Transeo
and the superintendent of High School
District 214 in northwest suburban Chicago. “Transeo provides
schools with the tools to easily and efficiently track and report
these relevant learning opportunities and replaces the cumber-
some tracking and reporting methods so our staff can focus more
on students.”
Transeo Serve
increases student access to community service
experiences and eliminates antiquated, paper-based tracking
processes. Students can easily log their hours on Transeo’s mo-
bile-first platform, which gives staff the ability to instantly see if
students are meeting service benchmarks. Transeo produces com-
munity service transcripts for students, helping them build their
resume, apply to college or apply for scholarships.
Transeo Jobs
helps schools onboard, manage, and grow business
partner relationships to provide students relevant workplace
learning experiences. This relationship management platform
gives employers the ability to indicate how they want to engage
with students, from internships to shadow days to mentoring to
apprenticeships. Jobs also houses communications and data, giv-
ing school districts the option to produce comprehensive reports
on where their students are and where they are going next.
The team at Transeo believes
schools should use multiple
research-based indicators, and
not just a test score, to measure
whether students are college, career,
and life ready. To learn more, visit
