ECJC beats Delta 22-20
East Central Junior Col–
lege defeated Delta Junior
College 22-20 at home on the
Warrior field October 23.
East Central's first score
came in the first quarter with
a connection between QB
Jeff Breland and TE David
Gallaspy.
East Central and Delta
both scored in the second
quarter which ended with a

score of 13-6 in East Cen–
tral's favor . ECJC scored
with a one-yard run by QB
Jeff Breland.
The fourth quarter really
decided the game. ECJC
scored on a 28-yard QB Stacy
Powell pass to WR Percy
Johnson for a touchdown and
Luke Parks made the PAT for
a 20-6 score in favor of ECJC.

Lamar Kirkland fumbled the
snap. He recovered
in
the
end zone, but ECJC's
Tho–
mas Russell fell on Kirkland
for a safety and a 22-6 ECJC
lead.
Delta then came back to
score two touchdowns and
made a two-point conversion
to bring the score to its final
tally of 22-20.
