Hinds Upsets ECJC

Milton Taylor ran for touchdowns of three and 13 yards and

passed 59 yards to Mitchell Myers for a third score to lead

Hinds to a 21-13 Mississippi Junior College South Division

upset victory over East Central Saturday night at Decatur.

Taylor 's heroics, plus a safety, gave Hinds a 21-(llead after

three quarters before ECJC, 5-1-1 overall and 2-1-1

in

the

South, rallied.

Bo Evans scored on a 7-yard run and, later in the fourth

period, Stacy Powell threw a 14-yard scoring pass to Percy

J ohnson.

Hinds (4-3,

3-1)

outgained ECJC, which plays at Mississippi

Delta next week, 319 yards to 295.
